SYNOPSIS: The Emperor-King wishes to be married, so his court employs a long ago contract to wed him to a daughter of nobility. Unfortunately, the girl has some stereotypical ideas about her king, and it will take a lot to convince her otherwise.

Spring 2000 PawPrints Fanzine Issue 11 (Short story - "Su Ling"): Unable to find this item online for purchase. Even when this issue was in print, it was difficult to find except directly through its publisher. SYNOPSIS: "Su Ling is a prankster." On that note, this is a fabulist story about a young Si'amese girl who loves to play tricks on others. When her brothers are set to be married by the local match makers, Su Ling plays a prank that brings some unexpected results.
